What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is a feeling of worry, concern, uneasiness, dread, and fear. It is usually a reaction to stress. Symptoms of anxiety include irritability, fatigue, rapid heart rate, shortness of breath, and muscle weakness (anxiety medication).
Treatment for anxiety includes taking medication and cognitive behavioral therapy. Common drug classes used to treat anxiety are benzodiazepines, SSRIs, atypical antidepressants, antihistamines, muscle relaxants, SNRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, azapirones, typical antispycotics, and typical antipsychotic / tricyclic antidepressant combinations.
